The Method

Chemistry is real. So is everything that outlasts it.

Most matching, human or algorithmic, optimizes for the first date. We profile the things that decide year five, and we vet the way a search firm vets, because that's what this is.

The premise

What a profile can't show you.

A profile shows you height, photographs, and a job title. A first date shows you charm. Neither shows you the things that actually determine whether a relationship lasts, because those things are structural, and structure only becomes visible under time or under questioning. We choose questioning. Every client and every member sits for a structured interview before any introduction happens, and what we learn there is what we match on.

A couple in conversation, seen through frosted glass — she in burgundy, he in charcoal grey.

The compatibility framework

The spectrums that decide year five.

Every person sits somewhere on each of these lines. No position is wrong. What matters is the distance between two people, and whether that distance is bridgeable or permanent. We place every client and every member along them in a structured conversation.

  • How you recover.

After conflict or a hard day: alone and quickly, or together and slowly.

  • How you transmit care.

Through words and expression, or through acts and reliability. Both are love. Mismatched dialects feel like its absence.

  • What distance does to you.

    Breathing room, or quiet alarm.

  • What your nervous system asks for mid-argument.

    Space first, or resolution now.

  • What money is for.

Security, freedom, status, or the life it buys someone you love. Two people with identical incomes can be incompatible on this line alone.

  • Where home lives.

In a place, a language, and proximity to family, or wherever the work and the partner are.

  • How much of life should be shared by default.

Parallel lives with warm intersection, or merged unless there's a reason not to be.

Alongside the spectrums, the essentials people can name: children and timelines, faith, geography, lifestyle, pace of life. Together they form a compatibility profile that guides every search and sharpens with every introduction.

Informed by relationship science, conducted by trained matchmakers. This is not psychological testing and we don't pretend it predicts love. It is a structured way of not discovering the important things two years too late.

The vetting

What “vetted” means here, exactly.

Every firm in this industry says vetted. Almost none of them will tell you what the word covers. Here is ours, in full.

  1. Layer one

    The application.

Structured questions about history, situation, and intent, a required LinkedIn profile, and consistency checks across everything submitted, including the photographs. Applications that don't hold together don't proceed.

  2. Layer two

    The interview.

Thirty minutes by video with a matchmaker, covering relationship history walked in order, how conflict actually went, and what the next years are supposed to look like. Identity is confirmed in this conversation. Not everyone passes, and that's the point.

  3. Layer three

    Verification on request.

At any client's request, a member completes enhanced verification before an introduction, including an official Swiss criminal-record extract that only he himself can order.

It is included as standard in The Private Search.

  4. Layer four

    The standard that never ends.

After every date, structured feedback flows from both sides, and no next introduction happens until it does. A member whose behavior on dates contradicts his interview doesn't stay a member. Membership is continued conduct, not a one-time pass.

Your privacy, by design

He gets your details when you decide. Not before.

For a first introduction, we arrange everything. You meet at a venue we know, at a time we hold, and your surname and contact details stay with us until you choose to share them. Your matchmaker knows where you are and checks in after. Profiles are never public, photographs are never posted, and nothing about your search exists anywhere you haven't approved.

The method is the product.

By appointment only.
